BUTTE, MONTANA OLD SCHOOL SPEEDSKATING EVENT
NOW in its 10th season, skateNOW hosts an annual Old School Speedskating event, in Butte, MT at the old High Altitude Training Center, 400-meter oval track. Skaters can join to take part in this casual weekend of skating affairs, including marathon and metric racing, if desired.
A fun-filled weekend of old school skating mixed with a trip to the local area hot springs, impromptu music by local musicians, and a group dinner.
JULY 4TH IDAHO TRAIL SKATING EVENT
Now in it's 20th season, skateNOW hosts an annual trail skate event in Coeur d' Alene, ID, each summer, following along the 74-mile Trail of the Coeur d Alene. Experienced skaters can explore the area trail skating in a casual group setting, or go along at their own pace.
Other area activities include floating local rivers, mountain biking, and cycling the famed Hiawatha trail near Look Out pass.
